MAPLE UNCOMMON HOTEL is a wonderful gathering place in downtown Columbus, Kansas. Housed in a building originally built in 1914 as Sleases Department Store, it was a J.C.Penney store for 55 years. The original sculptured tin ceiling graces its expansive two story atrium lobby. Today rich Oak flooring, comfortable furniture, books, fresh green plants, and ever-changing art exhibits create a warm welcome for hotel guests, social events, meetings, and in-house catered meals.
